We propose that ALL foreign marriages should be un recognised. MArried couples migrating to Telamon would just be required to sign a document upon arrival and then their marriage will be recognised. This is just so the government can have proper documents and varified information |

Message | Surely this doesn't make sense. Under current law you would obviously have to prove that you were married in order for it to be recognised in the first place - that could be by signing a new document or providing government with a copy of a marriage certificate or entry, or something to prove you were legally married in another state - doesn't have to mean much paperwork, but the state would still have documentation. Under the proposed law essentially people would have to get married again in Telamon for it to be recognised as valid - this surely is more hassle, more paperwork and completely unnecessary |
