Description[?]:

The Empire of Mikuni-Hulstira is a modern day feudal regime, in which party politics is banned and hereditary families dominate instead, society is divided into various social castes. It has a parliament and elections, but those elected represent powerful religious, aristocratic and guild factions rather than political parties. When starting a party in Mikuni-Hulstria, it is highly suggested that you play as a Great House. However, Great Houses are not the only option.

The Mikuni-Hulstrian system contains the following elements:

The Imperial Family - the highest ruling authority, at the top of all religious, economic and social hierarchies.

The Mamuryūken - the elite private army of the Imperial Household, recruited from Majatran nations. They are similar to the Mamluks of Egypt, Ottoman Janissaries and the Praetorian guard of Ancient Rome, and were ennobled in the reign of Riito the young to appease them. It is in their interest that there always be a Emperor to "protect", though they themselves desire influence. Players can play a Mamuryūken family should they wish, but must be faithful to their Majatran cultural origin.

The Imperial Army - The Imperial Army is the standing army of the Empire, maintained via conscription from the common people. Should one player wish to RP the army, that can be discussed, but there should ideally only be one doing so.

The Samurai Orders - Chivalric orders based on those that existed within Medieval Europe. Not all of those with noble birth have the ability to sustain their own estates and family, so they either become bondsmen to other Houses or join a Chivalric order. Chivalric orders are closely identified with the interests of the Great Houses and with the Imperial Army
