Message | Herr Speaker, I ask the opposition to read the treaty correctly. It doesn't state that we give away our military and technological secrets, but it states that we should ENCOURAGE the exchange of data between our companies and institutions. Besides, this doesn't mean that we'd be the only ones giving our data, we'd also get data from the other side, which is only in our favour. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "A return to first principles in a republic is sometimes caused by the simple virtues of one man. His good example has such an influence that the good men strive to imitate him, and the wicked are ashamed to lead a life so contrary to his example." - Niccolo Machiavelli |
