Current: Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in all places of employment.
Proposed: Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner, and is legal in government-owned buildings.

One's feeling's towards strangers has nothing to do with morality. Neither does anyones "feelings" for that matter. They only time feelings would come into play would be in the instance where they are a rational result of one's values. For instance, Honesty is a virtue, which should be consistently followed. But if a kidnapper breaks into your home and demands the location of your hidden child-- lie through your teeth. In other words, context, context, context. |
