| Those getting university degress have quite high lifecycle income. Of course they might be quite poor when studying. However, there is a beatiful mechanism which allows future income to be consumed now: debt. |

The institutes are not funded entirely by the Dorvish state, they are funded by private endowments as well as smaller fees that are collected by the colleges and universities themselves.
