Message | We stand against this bill, particularly on article 2. Terra is overpopulated, the last thing we should be doing is encouraging population growth. |

Message | Without population at growth at some point you'll hit a demographic crisis, with too many pensioners and not enough young people to work and pay for the welfare system (although I suppose the education budget will reduce). |

Message | If that happens, we can encourage extra immigration to deal with that crisis, that way it's kinder on the environment as there's less people, and we get the extra hands we need. |

Message | Supporting immigration will.still increase our population in Hutori... it has an stopped anything except Terra's overall population which based on thier previous voting record we are shocked that our Honorable colleagues from Choice even care about. Message | Mr Speaker Right now we still don't want to encourage immigration as we believe that the country is aptly populated currently. However we believe that in the FUTURE once we need more hands on deck to support the elderly and do other essential jobs, encouraging extra immigration is both more beneficial to Terra as a whole and a safer option for Hutori. We cannot predict the future, for all we know a famine could wipe out the elderly population and then we will be overpopulated with young people, thus acting at the time instead of trying to predict what will be needed decades ago will be a far more sensible act. Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
