Message(( Admin sent me a message saying not to use titles in my candidate's name. Also, it doesn't look like the blank space idea worked, as I had "President-Councillor" in the field, not "Councillor-President-Councillor". It was a good try though, I guess. :D ))

MessageIt looks like the head of state field, when left blank, defaulted to the first word in the name of the winner: so Councillor took the place of President. I actually prefer Councillor, or President-Councillor, to President, but no biggie either way. Unless i can convince everyone to go along with the Very Model of Modern Lodamunian bit? ;)

MessageI'd go for President-Councillor, seeing as that what I used. :D

MessageThis sounds stupid pointless as we already have a perfectly reasonable title for our head of state.

MessageNFL - Right now it's Councillor, since the blank space apparently took the first name of my candidate as the title of head of state for the entire nation. I was simply offering to return it to its previous President, or to President-Councillor as the CCF has suggested, as it's hardly fair that the title have been determined unknowingly by my own candidate's name.

MessageDoes anyone else care, or should I dismiss this bill and leave it as Councillor?

MessageThe MLTP would prefer it either be returned to President, or made President-Councillor, rather than leave it as Councillor. Alternatively, we could choose something entirely different, though we can't think of anything at the moment. Honestly, though, it doesn't matter a whole lot to us.

MessageNot a top priority, but President-Councillor is the CCF's preference and based on discussion so far the compromise most likely to gain majority support.

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
