GRAND ETHNICITY AND RELIGION CENSUS OF3893 1) Ethnicity in Mordusia * Mordusian People - 82.7% -- (white, mixed influences) -- Mordusian English, Mordusian * Mordusian Saridani (Dutch) - 1.3% -- (white, mixed influences) -- Mordusian Saridani -- Concentrated in the northeastern provinces of Adubura, Hosamia and Sayoon * Canrillaise (mostly from Alduria) (French)- 10.9% -- (white, mixed influences) -- Aldurian Canrillaise -- Concentrated in the southern provinces of Adubura, Sammodra and Talasor * Immigrants - 5.1% -- (all colors) -- Immigrants, no languages specified -- 50 years of open refugee status with integration aid attached, along with multiple RPs about offers to those in several areas. 2) Religion in Mordusia * Hosianism (Christianity)- 73% Bishopal Church of Mordusia (Official, voluntary state church) - 62% Luthori Church in Mordusia - 20% Aurorian Patriarchal Church - 12% Terran Patriarchal Church - 6% * Yeudism -(Judaism) 7% * Ahmadism (Islam) - 5% * No religion/Not Specified - 15% OOC: With nearly a century of open refugees and ever-tightening relations with Alduria, Mordusia has seen an increase in the influence of other cultures within its borders. While it maintains an aggressive integration program (noted in refugee and nationality bills), the country has also embraced other languages. Nearly one in five Mordusians know la langue canrillaise, with one in six speaking it daily, especially in the southern regions. This has only been strengthened with the formation of the South Seleyan Union, binding the two nations together, further intertwining their borders and their peoples. English remains the universal tongue throughout the country. The Mordusian people have a long tradition of being among the faithful, even as tides have turned over the years. The Bishopal Church remains at the forefront of society and politics, with not uncommon efforts to strengthen its position appearing in the political realm. While most Mordusians seem to embrace different ethnic traditions and languages, they seem most divided on the issue of religion, with adherents of various faiths finding few converts in recent years. With open borders, though, the interaction of neighbors and refugees are bound to bring with them their own traditions and values.
