MessageMr Speaker,

Transport and communications in this country are not luxuries, they are essential services, and as such it is absolutely necessary that they be run democratically for the benefit of those who make use of them. I commend this bill to the house.

Minister for Infrastructure and Transport

MessageMr Speaker,

If Infrastructure Minister could explain why transport and communications are not luxuries, we might only then consider this bill.

Message(OOC: A more detailed speech is yet to come but on balance, though this goes too far in the FP's eyes, this is an improvement. Really only the total nationalisation instead of leaving a role for the market is a problem.)
