Message | Mr. Speaker, This is exactly the problem we have with the left. It is waging a war on our communities. The claims to empowerment are hypocritical; by their actions, the left is taking power away from our communities, hijacking them on behalf of the government. Even if such a referendum were practical (I'd like the lady to tell me the question), it could not compensate for the real loss to our communities caused by the total state monopoly on all things financial. Message | Mr. Speaker It won't be a monopoly, as there will be many banks which will be competing for the market. The referendum could be just as pratical, especially if they were put each 3 month, but we though that to be too radical, so, we hope for 1 year instead. Nathalie Danielsson, Depute for the FKA |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Competing with themselves, without the purpose of distinguishing the needs of individual communities? Multiple institutions does not competition make. I repeat: what is the question to be asked? Will everyone just be asked to fill in a blank ballot with the exchange rate they want for next month? If that is the case, this is ludicrous. Message | Mr. Speaker This law shall not pass, but we did not intend ton put any law on the vote of the individuals, they could want to set our currency to etheir 3 LOD or 0,1 LOD or even 0,0003, it is their wish and we shall no question it. We will create small-scaled based banks, so they will have to take in account the interest of their communauty. Nathalie Danielsson, Depute for the FKA |

Message | Mr Speaker, Why not let the communities take care of those banks themselves, as before? Why does the government have to hijack perfectly healthy and moral community banks that are often run by those very communities themselves? Ingbert Mathiassen |
