Message | We disagree with the bill at this stage. Freedom of religion is as important as any other freedom in Kirlawa, and as a secular nation, we must stand up for the rights of both religious and non religious individuals. Imposing regulations will go down very badly with the religious community. |
Date | 13:55:20, August 28, 2015 CET | From | Alliance for Nature and Workers | To | Debating the Red-Greens Program for the Fortieth Century, Chapter IV : Religion |
Message | The regulations we are imposing are necessary. You need to take into account the fact that religions encompasses both large, well-considered churches as the Aurorian Church and small, obscure and dangerous religious movements, relying on the weakness of the masses. Especially, Article III is capital, because non-religious schools have students from many religious denominations, and a non-religious school should not be allowed to lead prayers, especially in such a religiously diverse nation as Kirlawa. |
