Bill: Religion Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Liberal Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2171
Description[?]:
Once again, we are of the opinion that religion is entirely a good thing for the people, thus we aim to increase the role of religion within Likatonia, and the government support for organised religion. The official state religion would be any religion other than athiesm, and we would be encouraging our citizens to actively participate in religion. We feel, that for now that is satisfactory. |

Date | 14:18:43, January 13, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Liberal Party | To | Debating the Religion Bill |
Message | It would decrease religion for non-recognised bodies, but not for religious orders that the government recognises, who would be given greater responsibilities. |

Message | No, no, no, no! I refuse to accept this! And guess what? I'm one of the original parties from the days when Likatonia was socially progressive, long before the days of religion, and I;m back and I've got a record to make my way. Forcing religion is not the right idea! |

Date | 23:02:15, January 13, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Liberal Party | To | Debating the Religion Bill |
Message | The Conservative Party realises that this has little chance of successfully passing, however the Conservative Party is adamant that we must make our views known to all Likatonians. As our citizens, shockingly, have a high interest in politics, and watching debates in this chamber on the TV, this is the easiest way to spread our message. |
