Bill: Call for Early Elections, April 3903

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: August 3904

Description[?]:

To Be Considered By Parliament In Full,

Noting the existence of a new political party with different policy proposals from any of the established parties,

Recognizing Beluzia is a Republic, and a Republican system of governance depends on electoral accountability,

Reminding the existing political parties that to reject this vote would be to reject an opportunity to hear the will of the people,

Hoping for a return to Beluzia's noble past of involved and eventful politics,

The Populist People's Party urges members of Parliament to convene and call a snap election.
