MessageI stand today to introduce to Parliament the Healthcare Privatisation Act 2170.

The DLP firmly believes that a true free market extends into services often considered naturally government responsibilities. We know that people using private healthcare recieve a better service than those who use public hospitals. Therefore, why not give everyone this high quality care?

This bill also includes a commitment to providing financial aids for healthcare for those on low incomes. This is what makes the whole system fair.

I hope this bill will recieve sufficient support.

MessageIt's a tough one.. I think that if someone needs surgery, they should have it, rather than worry about the cost. We would like a strict definition of those who would pay and those who wouldn't. What about people on, or around the cut-off point?

MessageWe believe the pursuit of profit invariably requires cutting corners to maximise profit. Clearly, this is something we cannot allow in healthcare.

MessageWe already know that government control merely restricts quality in healthcare. The private sector has proved they can be trusted with the nation's healthcare.

Moved to vote.

MessageThe DLP is disgusted by the ridiculous actions of the ICP. If the ICP agrees with this bill, they should vote for it. To not do so is a betrayal of their voters and of Aloria.

Message1) It is not privitized enough.
2) It is an action of protest. Unless you appoligize for libel, pay the sum, and resign from your Ministry of Justice position, we will not vote for this.

MessageThe ICP has supported this bill and now suddenly they start picking wholes? Coincidence? I think not.

The ICP is disgracefully bringing other matters into debate on vital services. It is extremely childish. But then, what do we expect from this party?

ToDebating the Healthcare Privatisation Act 2170
MessageFurthermore, if the ICP supports it really and want to make a statement then why vote no? Surely an abstention would be more appropriate.

Is the ICP putting votes before Aloria?

MessageNo. We don't want to abstain because if we abstained and this bill passed, that would be bad because we are against you. Though if the Aloria Coalition is back in power, we'll vote for it. :P

MessageAnd at last: a confession.

You don't want to vote for the bill because we introduced it. You are putting partisan fighting and election results before Aloria. Pathetic. The ICP is a sham of a party, quite frankly.
