MessageMr. Speaker,

Though my party dissents from the rest of the governing coalition as to drug policy, I nevertheless feel forced to counsel strongly against adopting this bill. Not because I am a fan of the current policy per se, but because the alternative proposed is quite frankly ill-advised. By allowing this hotch-potch of different drug laws, we create huge problems in that it encourages drug tourism, creates social problems disproportionate to the population where they are allowed because of people from other provinces coming to get drugs and will in practice therefore weigh down our law enforcement officers like a brick, making the drug laws that are in place very difficult to enforce.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.
