MessageThis may have worked in the era of Robin Hood. But we are a free society. Most of the poor people are poor because they chose to be. Most of the rich people are rich because they became so. Don't tax the men of ability because they showed the initiative to work, to create, to produce.

A more just alternative would be a flat tax.
