| Article One is an unjust regulation that limits residential development and stops people from feeling safe in their own homes. We cannot pretend as if crime is not a valid concern, and gated communities are obviously an effective way of deterring crime and protecting property value and real estate. Also, it'll spur the real estate market and provide a sizable windfall to the government's coffers. Secondly, as part of the Prime Minister's effort to sort out matter that belong to the federal government and to state and regional governments, it has come to his attention that immigration is currently dealt with at a regional level, when it very obviously carries national implications and deals with foreign citizens which is a uniquely federal jurisdiction. This act corrects was he considers a grave mistake in national policy. We ask Parliament for its opinions and consent. |
