| The retirement age of 67 is far too high. Not only is it exhausting elderly workers who also struggle to get out of a bad job and into a new one due to their age, not only is it immoral and callous to make people work to such an elderly age, but it is also giving young people entering the workplace less jobs to be able to be a part of, and as such those young people also go on benefits thus damage the economy. Thus there are a vast amount of excellent reasons as to why we should lower the retirement age. We propose a lenient lowering of the retirement age all the way down to 60. |
