Bill: Revised Tax and Appropriations Bill, 3913

Details

Submitted by[?]: Borgerlig-Demokratiske Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3914

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

this bill presents a compromise solution between the governing parties and Folkepartiet aimed at passing a revised tax bill. We have made sure that we do not deviate from the overall goal of lowering the tax burden, but have included a few adjustments that reflect our decision that a tax relief for the middle class, as was planned to occur at a later stage of our reforms anyway, will be preponed. In addition, we have managed to include a school funding clause that represents the joint ambition of this administration as well as Folkepariet to promote school choice and educational diversity. I thus ask the Storting for its approval.

Leya Nordahl (FV)
Minister of Finance
