Message | Dear colleagues, Out of the enormous quantity of bills you are presenting to us - and we once did as you, so there is no problem with that - there are some subjects on which we could have discussed before you rammed them to vote. We are not *against* everything the so-called"revolutionaries" would propose and we are not closed to every suggestions you can make, only you happen to make good suggestions entangled with others we would never accept. Jan Brunsiek, Kanzler OOC : I must also say I devoted less time than before to particracy lately, but I'm still here and I intend to at least vote for or against every project you present. |

Message | Dear colleagues, and I say colleagues with some disgust, There is no time to waste debating revolution, especially with you robber baron politicians. Ludger Geier Generalsekretär der ZDR OOC: We all have things keeping us busy from the game, so I understand not devoting large sums of time, and any time you devote is great time so no worries :) |

Message | Dear colleagues, We understand how you can believe that your ideas are the best ones, but frankly we do not think trying to impose them all at once without even trying to grab the support of your colleagues is going to help you to realize those reforms. Let us give you an ounce of good faith : We are against article 1, because private schools, properly regulated, are a threat to nobody. They serve to give an alternative to the national program, which we also believe should be mostly given to the three parts of our country for them to have something to say about their cultures. Because of what we said about article 1, we are also against article 2. Article 3 doesn't have our approval because you are proposing to nationalize daycares, which would cost us a fortune while our current system of covering the costs for the poors is more efficient and more flexible. Your system would even give daycare for free to those "rich capitalists" you seem to despise so much. We could get behind article 4, but again we like the idea of helping the poors and to let some autonomy to the universities. Making them entirely funded by the government means they cannot bite the hand which feeds them. You could argue for article 5, because we worry that the private universities could end up with all the good students. So of course we have to either give a very good support for the students going to these or limit the tuition fees. Yet, if an university wants to be considered as private, is it really that grave? |

Message | Dear colleagues, A fully public and free education guarantees all members of our society, most importantly the oppressed poor and working class, are able to educate themselves and further the revolution. And yes, the children of capitalists would gain the same free public education, but they would be equal to our working class revolutionaries with whom they would attend school side by side. Unlike you plutocrats, we seek equality for all, not just a privileged few. Ludger Geier Generalsekretär der ZDR |
