Bill: Tax Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3916

Description[?]:

Our plan is to raise the income tax and cut the luxury tax completely. Our luxury tax is one of the highest in the world, and it is inappropriate and unnecessary. We place this act as a compromise. The republicans would be completely accepting with a lower luxury tax, but they do not want to lose so much governmental revenue. This puts the power back in the people and will energize the economy.

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost.
