| WIP The Lodamese National Armed Forces (LNAF) is the name of the organization of the national military structure for the Federal Republic of Lodamun. It is broken down into the following structures: -Lodamese Army (130,000) -Lodamese Navy (35,000) -Lodamese Air Force (49,000) -Lodamese National Militia (provincial based defense forces) (500,000) The National Defense Council shall be the body advising the President and the Secretary of State on matters of national military, intelligence and security policy. The President shall serve as ex officio Chair and the Vice Chair will be held by the Secretary of State. The Council will include the following: -President (Chair) -Secretary of State (Vice Chair) -Minister of Foreign Affairs -Minister of Defense -Minister of Justice -Chair of the National Military Staff -National Defense Adviser -Director of the Lodamese Secret Service -Director of the Lodamese National Intelligence Organization The National Military Staff is the combined military staff organization designed to facilitate inter-service cooperation. The Chair of the NMS shall be appointed by the President after consulting the Secretary of State and Cabinet. The NMS shall be structured as follows: National Military Staff Council -Chair of the NMS -Vice Chair of the NMS -Chief of Staff (Army) -Chief of Staff (Navy) -Chief of Staff (Air Force) -Chief of Staff (Civil Affairs and National Militia) NMS Organization -National Intelligence and Security Directorate -National Logistics and Supply Directorate -National Armaments Directorate -National Personnel Support, Training, and Education Directorate -National Civil Relations Directorate OOC: Overview: The LNAF is the main military body responsible for the protection of Lodamun. Historically speaking Lodamun has taken part in few international struggles recently, Lodamun is generally a middle of the pack power. With few direct overseas interests, plans, or goals, the armed forces are mostly focused on national defense aspects, mostly related to territorial integrity, and coastal defense. Composed largely of last generation tech, Lodamun, while far from being a superpower, is no mere corrupt pushover. For RP purposes, the Lodamese National Armed Forces should be played as a competent, well ordered force but lacking superpower attributes. A regional power. As for equipment, while historically, Lodamun has usually been RP-d as the US, the lack of international participation has altered that perception. Last generation tech from the US (pre-end of the Cold War) is suitable and advances can be made through sustained RP, high defense budgets. Also responsible for security and maintenance of national security sites critical to the intelligence and security priorities of the Lodamese Republic. 782nd Special Affairs Group:national special forces outfit, responsible for critical and well executed missions to support national objectives and to military operations in the field. The National Military University is designated as the main military force and officer development group which shall provide advanced, technical training to the forces of the LNAF. It will be headquartered in Port Golavia and shall consist of the following colleges and schools: -National Army College: responsible for the professional development of the Lodamese Army, and National Militia; main campus in Port Golavia --Advanced Infantry Warfare School --Senior NCO and Officer Development School --Army Officer School: main school responsible for the basic training of officers for the Army and National Militia --Combined Arms and Armoured Tactics Warfare School: based in Lindar Heights, Kregon -National Naval College: responsible for the professional development of the Lodamese Navy as well as providing support to civil coastal forces; main campus in St Martin, Andalay --Naval Submarine Warfare Development School --Naval Surface Warfare Development School --Naval Officers School --Naval Senior NCO and Officers Development School -National Air Force College: responsible for the professional development of the Lodamese Air Force; main campus in North Vrassa, Rapula --Air Fighter Training School --Air Logistics and Support School --Air Force Officers School --Space Systems and Development School -Joint Forces College: responsible for specialized training, across the military; main campus in Port Golavia --National Security and Intelligence School --Cyber Development School --Joint Forces Logistics and Support School |
