MessageMr. Speaker,

This cabinet proposal is indicative of the problems inherent in the Conservatives. They say that they stand for Conservative principles but will sell those principles away for the possibility of power. Their acquiescing to the demands of the Free Democrats shows that the only true Conservative choice for Luthori is the National Union.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Conservatives believe in compromise and fair government, we made a new proposal to appease a party that we made a sucessful coalition with last term, we now know they have decided to abandon that coalition and re-align themselves with the left, like their predecessor party.

In conclusion, as a party we could not be more in support of the advancement of Conservative values in Luthori, though we know that Luthorians would prefer a sensible and pragmatic Conservative party in power, that will stand up for Luthori Values, not the reactionary far right, National Union.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
