| Message | This Budget it to be actually realistic. Without passing this we will start acquiring 5.7 trillion DDO in Debt EVERY year... we don't have the money to pay for this. This is more debt then our nation is worth. This will either sink our nation with hyperinflation or massively in-debit us to foreign creditors forever. This can not be allowed to happen and Dorvik can't be allow to be a laughing stock of the world because of the corrupt and inept leadership of this nation. | Message | We could spent too much in the Defence Sector? We've cut it by 90% of where YOUR Party has set it. If you didn't want Defence spending that high you shouldn't have set it that high period. On the point of the Gold Standard, you'll blow through our ENTIRE Stockpile of Gold then if thats the case. A budget of 5.7 trillion with zero hard reserves means we have to borrow heavily or go bankrupt when we are unable to pay our own bills. OOC: Out of curiosity where is it stated that Dorvik uses the Gold Standard? And for the record this is the 7th country I've played in, so worry not, I'm not a noob or anything, I've been around the block. |
