MessageMr Speaker,

We in the REWP, as largest party in the government, feel that this coalition of parties is a fair one and one which will see the will of the people seen to. Our election across the country shows that the will of the people belongs with our left wing and not to the right wing, but it is important that we also maintain the middle ground.

Therefore, the parties involved would be the REWP, the largest party of government, our left wing partners the Progressives, who also have the President, and the Communist Party of Rutania, and the Libertarian Party, a party whom have been in government before and who's experience in these matters would prove vital to the formation of a stable government.

We urge you to vote in favour of this coalition, any coalition which does not include ourselves is clearly undemocratic and against the will of the people. This is the solution for stability and prosperity in Rutania.

MessageMr Speaker,

May I as my first outing as leader of the RDP (formerly IDP) congratulate all parties on our successful exercise of democracy in the recent election as proven by the outstanding turnout by the people of Rutania. This new broad spectrum of parties has reinvigorated the public's interest in politics and will hopefully bring a new breath of life into this chamber, something which this nation desperately needed.

My second point as a member of this chamber is to remind our neighbours the REWP, who also are a newcomer like ourselves, that both our parties share very similar ideological stances on many issues and would merely wish to ask that you do not refer your coalition as representing the left if you are going to exclude us from any cabinet proposals as you are essentially excluding a large portion of the leftish spectrum. Expanding on this, I would like to mention that if we go by your reasoning of any cabinet excluding you being undemocratic and against the will of the people then essentially any cabinet without my party or the Conservatives is likewise undemocratic. However bear in mind this is merely just a neutral analysis on my part and we do by no means bear any ill will against any party and we hope to remain on good terms with all parties in this chamber.

As such, we will be voting against this proposal and will be preparing for a productive term as the opposition alongside the Conservatives in order to keep the government accountable for their actions this term.

MessageMr speaker,

After counting the number of seats we won't be able to form a majority to back up this cabinet proposal. However we're honored to be part of this proposed coalition and we do agree with the leftist party on issues as Justice or abortion, we can't form a majority coalition here. To be honest, we've to change the legislation when it comes to proposing a cabinet. Everyone should be able to propose a cabinet and then only real majorities can be formed. Then another point, I refuse forming a coalition with the communist party, a party where we couldn't be more different from. As I reject the government to have much power, the communist party agrees with a government who has much power. We would wish the REWP would have contacted us first when proposing this cabinet, because we'll vote against it, not only because this cabinet won't get a majority, but also because we will never form a cabinet with the communist party.

MessageMr Speaker,

First of all, we wish to apologise to the RDP for their exclusion from this cabinet proposal. We felt that it was imperative that we first of all cater to our partners in the official Rutanian Left, and as you are not a member we did not feel entirely comfortable including you. We also disagree vehemently with your laissez-faire approach to economics, and thought that an arrangement between ourselves would be unworkable. Although the Libertarian Party also hold these views, their experience of forming a government would be critical to us, and as such we decided that they were important as an ally. On your point about the Conservatives, we wish to make it known in no uncertain terms that we will never form a government with them under any circumstances, as their sustained attack upon the workers of this country goes against everything we stand for.

To the Libertarian Party, we respect your position on this matter, and apologise for the lack of discussion beforehand this proposal. We hope that regardless of the outcome of this or any other cabinet proposals, we can all work together as one to build a fairer Rutania.

MessageMr Speaker,

Regardless the outcome of this or any other cabinet proposal we would be happy to work together with the REWP. But what's the real concern here is that there can't be formed a real cabinet coalition. As long as the legislation stays the same. Therefor I urge the Progressives and the REWP to change their mind on this issue and vote yes for the bill introduced by the National Brotherhood for Prosperity.

We are quite appalled that you have decided to completely exclude the right parties from any positions. This shows the lefts struggle to eradicate the right and shows that even though this nation was founded on democracy, it is being thrown away by the people in power. We will strongly appose this proposal unless we are given the seat of defense. Then we may be satisfied with the power to protect this nation, regardless of the corrupt leaders who command her.

MessageMr Speaker,

The CPR are quite angered by how we've been offered less cabinet positions than the Progressives, even though we hold more seats than them. We simply cannot accept such a poor deal.

MessageMr Speaker,

The Progressives hopes to express the deep concern for the current political gridlock. As the president of the Commonwealth, my fellow colleagues of the Progressives and I do hope that executive branches can be remained in order as soon as possible. Therefore, we propose a grand coalition government for parties from UN to CPR would all have a member in. The Progressives is also willing to give up any ministerial position within this grand coalition. Under this government, parties will join and vote on an issue-by-issue basis, limiting no parties to express their opinions within the chambers of legislation. We the Progressives sincerely hope that all parties would agree on these terms and get the government going as soon as possible.

MessageMr Speaker,

I would like to remind the President that it was his party combined with the UN and the REWP who voted against the article submitted by the NBP that would of removed the shackles of relying on one party to form a government and instead allow any party to try and form a working government. In essence you have committed to forcing the largest party into trying to form a cabinet and if they fail to do so it is a case of calling for early elections or being stuck in a political quagmire for the rest of the term.

This also strengthens our point that the more powers we can give to local governments, the less effect this political deadlock has on the day to day workings of the nation.
