Date | 12:18:33, January 15, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Liberal Party | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | We must strive to maintain the forces of law and order in this country. Anarchists within have plotted the downfall of this nation via violent confrontation. We must be prepared to relinquesh certain civil liberties in order to maintian peace for all, please back this bill, for the good of Likatonia. ooc: ja, this is why i don't feel so bad about being on here all the time, it means that I can respond to situations. |
Date | 12:19:50, January 15, 2006 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | OOC: good use of a roleplay device. Applauds. IC: The AAS believes that the right of people to assemble PEACEFULLY, is a necessary right. Jacto Aleas is recorded as saying that he is, however, "quite happy for the police to disperse the ToTAL rabble"... he is rumoured to have continued in a similar vein... largely about how individual ToTAL 'thugs' might be 'dispersed' using high-pressure and needles. |

Message | The AAS takes exception to the ISM use of the word "Anarchists" to represent disorderly mobs. |
Date | 12:22:14, January 15, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Liberal Party | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | We mean no offence to a party steeped in the traditions of Anarchism, perhaps we should have used a lower case 'a' |
Date | 12:53:05, January 15, 2006 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | The Anarch Anakrousites hold no grudge against the ISM for their 'faux pas'. Anarchism is a political ideaology, that has, unfortunately, become synonymous with violence and destruction.... neither is inherent in the concept... but both are implied in the vernacular use. |
Date | 12:56:57, January 15, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Liberal Party | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | Although we can now report that the level of violence in Meria, and Anakagrad in particular, had subsided, we still feel that the intentions of this bill are necessary, given the state of hostility that appears to exist within Likatonia at the moment between certain political organisations. |
Date | 15:24:55, January 15, 2006 CET | From | JLP Liberation Militia | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | JLP mobs would be hurt by this legislation. We cannot support. |
Date | 21:05:36, January 15, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Liberal Party | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | So you are prepared to see the nation collapse into anarchy? |
Date | 01:54:02, January 16, 2006 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Security Bill - Situation in Meria |
Message | The AAS statement on the matter mentions that other parties should not be prohibited from making their voices heard, just because of the unruly violent tendencies of some elements.... |

Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson |
