MessageThe IPP finds appointment of mayors by the Head of State fundamentally undemocratic, extraordinarily burdensome, and just generally in poor taste. Therefore we put forth this bill which aims to allow the various regions of communities of our nation to decide how to elect local leaders.

MessageThe IPP supports the inclusion of article two out of respect for our public officials of deep faith. They have chosen to serve the state and its people, the least we can do is ensure they are comfortable and entitled to the same rights we all have.
