Details

Submitted by[?]: Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3930

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

As proposed at the peace conference (OOC see the RP news Paramilitary Shootout in Vanderburg), the president's four point plan for peace is put forth at the Parliament as it involves legal affairs.

1. All paramilitary groups shall retreat from the areas of conflict immediately and let the central government resume control.

2. The government shall forgive all crimes committed by the paramilitary group.

3. All protesters shall leave the areas of conflict immediately or will be persecuted.

4. The paramilitary group shall proof and register all losses of equipment and fees for the period of conflict, payable by the government.

5. The paramilitary group of the United Nationalists should be the sole paramilitary group in Rutania, unless other legislation are passed.

If this bill is passed, the bill Declaration of War against UN shall be ignored. If both bills are not passed, the peace conference will be handed over to the next administration.

Signed by the President
Paul Stansted

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Libertarian Party doesn't agree with article 4. We don't believe the government and thus the taxpayers, have to pay for the paramilitary group who may have murdered their beloved ones or someone they knew. We believe the paramilitary group must pay for the loss of equipment and the fees for the period of the conflict themselves. We also don't agree with article 5, there has been shown that the UN paramilitary group has committed themselves to more violence and crimes then any other paramilitary group.

MessageMr Speaker,

This is outrageous. Articles 2, 4, and 5 are ridiculous. Forgiving them? Reimbursing them for equipment they damaged while murdering people? Allowing them to not only remain as a paramilitary organization, but eliminating all potential opponents? It sounds like the UN won. We cannot allow that.

We will vote no.

MessageMr Speaker

If the administration does not act now, the next government will take over the peace process and therefore, the Progressives will now put the current version of the peace plan forward for voting and propose another act that will be of Declaration of War. If this bill is passed, the results of the latter shall be struck null and void by the administration, if the latter passes, we shall declare war. If neither is passed, the issue shall be handed over to the next administration.

MessageMr Speaker,

Now they are forgiven of all crimes? Worst deal that the government could have brokered. The President is a joke, he has the negotiating skills of a toddler. Any party that votes yes should feel guilty. You are forgiving murderers and traitors, and you are voting for the government to give in. Anyone who votes yes for this should go and visit the family members of those that the UN murdered, and explain to them why we are rewarding the UN for their crimes.

All I can say is unbelievable. The Progressives should be ashamed of themselves.

MessageMr Speaker,

This peace proposal is a threat to the very existence of Rutania. Rather than weakening the UN, this would simply make them more stronger. The UN must be destroyed in order for Rutania to have peace, but the Progressives seem desperate to prevent that from happening.
