Bill: Early Election Bill (OOC/IC)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Solentia Peoples' Party (SPP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3930
Description[?]:
I am proposing a bill to change the way we have early elections, currently there isn't any rules about having one. 1) If any party with seats leaves (is inactive), we agree to vote yes to a early election (even if you have a majority) 2) Only request an early election if a party leaves, or a suitable reason is given. (see point 3) 3) Don't immediately request a early election if a cabinet can't be formed, unless it has been a number of IRL days and a majority of people agree This means early elections have to go through by law if the reasons above are met. - Thanks, SPP |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
