To Ensure that His Grace, King Amfn, shall be duly seated, and that the plan for the establishment of various reigonal officies shall be duly executed. Section One: The due coronation of His Grace. Sec. 1(a): As His Grace is the rightful heir of King Eksandr, there is no doubt as to his bloodline, and he is hereby proclaimed the lawful King of Barmenia in accordance with various acts of this Assembly. His Coronation, consisting of the oaths and formal ceremony laid out in the constitution, shall commence within three weeks time. Section Two: Care of the Queen Dowager. Sec.2(a): It is the intention of the last will and testament of His Grace, King Eksandr, that his widow, the Queen Julie of Barmenia, born Julie of Telamon, sister of King Gustav IV, shall be given all the honor and respect of a former Queen and dowager, and shall be free to reside at the Lajékai Castle for the duration of her life. These things shall be true regardless of the status of her marital prospects. Section Three: Creation of the Elected Nobility. Sec.3(a): In accordance with the principles laid out by the Barmenian Church, and by the democratic revolutions, the nobility shall hereby be re-established in the following manner; 1. They shall be title Duke or Duchess, depending on gender, and shall be appointed by the King for a period of five years. 2. At the end of their term, the people of their province shall vote on whether or not to retain them, and shall have the ability to remove them via a two thirds vote, should they behave improperly while in office. 3. If they are removed via plebicite, the Assembly shall select from a list of vetted candidates, and these candidates shall be forwarded to the King for his appointment. 4. Should the people of the the province wish, they are free to submit their own candidate via write in, if it passes via a majority vote. Section Four: The Funeral of His Grace, King Eksandr. Sec.4(a): In accordance with the last will and testament of His Grace, King Eksandr, he shall be entombed beside his wife of seven years, Queen Mri Mardoh. Section Five: Enactment. Sec.5(a): This bill shall be enacted upon its due passage. |
