Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3932
Description[?]:
All parts of a city should be accessible to all citizens. Walls, gates, guards, controlled access, etc. are no longer suitable for the realities of modern life and instead of protection primarily afford a sense of exclusion for those living in and out of such communities. Unity cannot be achieved through the segmentation of our great society. |

Message | Although we believe in communism, there is a reason why those communities sought to be gated in the first place. We cannot support this bill as it aims to remove protective safeguards. We would prefer for everyone to be in a gated community, but we cannot agree to the banning of gated communities altogether. |
Date | 05:46:54, November 04, 2015 CET | From | Coalition for Unity and Prosperity | To | Debating the Freedom of Movement |
Message | The CUP only wonders, protective safeguards against what? Since it has not been stated we can only assume against that most insidious and ubiquitous of enemies - the general public. |
Date | 14:16:38, November 04, 2015 CET | From | Bailonese Council Communist Party (BCCP) | To | Debating the Freedom of Movement |
Message | Some members of the general public unfortunately take an interest in breaking into homes, causing vandalism and stealing property. Not to mention, "security of mind" comes in /mind/. |
Date | 15:57:49, November 04, 2015 CET | From | Coalition for Unity and Prosperity | To | Debating the Freedom of Movement |
Message | And those inside said communities cannot commit crimes? The CUP must insist that safety cannot come at the cost of segregation and exclusion. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
