Bill: Withdrawal from an Awful Trade Deal

Details

Submitted by[?]: Chauvinistisk Parti för Telamons (CPT)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3935

Description[?]:

This trade deal has many aspects of it that hurt Telamons. First off, Davostan's presence in it could cause some controversy. Second off, the existence of our over-abundance of free trade hurts the Telamon worker as jobs are being shipped overseas. Finally, tariffs may help finance some programs. Withdrawing from this treaty is a must.

MessageHerr Talman, we would like to ask the CPT to provide evidence for how free trade agreements hurt our economy. Considering that our industry is mostly nationalized, it would be the Riksdags decision to move jobs overseas. Secondly research points to free trade agreements accellerating economig growth in all participating states.

MessageOur industry is not mostly nationalized! That is a complete lie, and it was used to further the political agenda of the SUP. Refer to our budget: http://classic.particracy.net/budget.php?nationid=16 . 59.06% of our economy is through private industry in Telamons, 29.65% of our economy is through the government, and 11.30% of our economy is through investments. The private industry is almost twice as prominent as our public industry, and we have a small portion of our economy in investments like the stock exchange as well. The SUP is lying to the Telamon people, or they can't count. We request that the SUP to admit their numerical illiteracy, or they are admitting that they are a party of liars.

MessageShameful display of extreme nationalistic sentiment that jeopardises the economic freedom of the people of Davostan and Telamon. Vote no, for the sake of free markets and stabilising relations between our two countries.
