Description[?]:
AN ACT to usher in a new form of protection against nuclear strikes on our nation. This legislation will also usher in a new system. The "Dead Hand" nuclear control system. it can automatically trigger the launch of the Trigunian intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) if a nuclear strike is detected by seismic, light, radioactivity and over pressure sensors. By most accounts, it is normally switched off and is supposed to be activated during dangerous crises only; however, it is said to remain fully functional and able to serve its purpose whenever needed. This is to allow for our ICBM's and SLBM's to be able to have launch capabilities on their own in-case of the destruction of Trigunian Leader-ship. |
