Bill: Local Police Department Act.
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2172
Description[?]:
Gives control of the police to local governments. A national police department is a burden to maintain and costs the government to much money to fully fund. A police agency handled by local governments decreases the national governments burden of maintaining the "quasi-military" organisation that it is. |

Message | The government already maintains a national police force which is the military. A police force that is localised and controlled by local government ensures seperation of the military and police forces. |

Message | A nationally run system allows better coordination for events that effect the whole nation. Multiple forces will likely lead to problems with information interchange allowing vital data not to get to those who need it. |

Message | Well why not scrap the police force and use the military. Would be more cost effective than two seperate law enforcement bodies and far better than having the four regional divisions and the army all seperate. |
