MessageIf the agricultural industry goes under, they can apply for subsidies under the government intervention into the market laws. Subsidies in an otherwise healthy market prevents free and fair trade, wasting tax aureus and preventing poorer nations than Baltusia from getting a leg up in the world, as they cannot compete with the deflated price of Baltusian goods.

I don't see what benefit merging small farms into larger ones has though. I suppose its all just a masturbatory urge to control everything.
