Description[?]:

The Ministry of Education & Culture, upon conducting a survey of the population over the last ten years, recommends the following updates to the Cultural Protocols of the Nation:

Rationale: Since the Chann Invasion, the nations borders have been completely opened pursuant to the Land Claim Act (granting those of Channese origin the right to utilize government eminent domain powers to seize property http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=452037), the Chann Immigration Reform & Overhaul Act of 3932 (allowing citizenship to be attained by a qualifying exam and multiple citizenships allowed http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=452252), the Immigration Reform Act of 3933 (allowing everyone to reside permanently in the nation http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=452287), the Language Curriculum & mandate Act (mandating that primarily education institutions educate children in Solentian (ooc: english) http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=452332), and the Foreign Affairs Act (deregulating border controls http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=453476).

Immigration has primarily been focused on the Chann government enticing those of Channese origin from Solentia and all over the globe to reside in kafuristan.

NATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Kafuristan is a Majatran nation located on the Kafuri Peninsula, sometimes called the Majatran Peninsula. Kafuristan is loosely based on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and other wealthier Middle Eastern nations. Kafuristan has been historically divided between Baathist, liberal republican movements, monarchist and radical Abadi or Ahmadist governments, but was invaded by the Channese in 3930 and has been under Chann control for nearly a decade (with the aid of the Al-Omer and Al-Qoralus families and minorities such as the Aslis and Justinians). After being pushed to the mountains of Pabeus, the Ahmadists had rallied under the Jabhah al-Sha`biyah li-Tahrir al-Qalb, who gained a majority of 72 seats of the 100 seat senate in the mid-3930s. However, they had not rallied behind a Head of State candidate and thus High Chancellor Rithisak Chann maintained control and kept in place the Chann Government (the Jabhah al-Sha`biyah li-Tahrir al-Qalb did not have the 2/3 needed to wrest cabinet powers from the Chancellor). The Jabhah al-Sha`biyah li-Tahrir al-Qalb eventually were defeated in 3938 and the rebellion finally ended.
