Bill: Strikes Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Totalitarian Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2173
Description[?]:
Presently, any trade union is allowed to go on a sympathy strike in support of other striking workers. The Totalitarian Party feels this causes unnecessary disruption to services Gaduri citizens have come to rely on. We propose secondary strike action be made illegal. Also, we feel certain services should never be allowed to cease. Our police force should not be able to cease all activity just because they feel they aren't being paid enough. |
