Bill: International Goodwill Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian-Socialist Coalition
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2173
Description[?]:
When a major calamity such as a tsunami or earthquake occurs in a poor nation, causing severe damage as well as catastrophic loss of life, the greatest risk by far is that the survivors die from lack of shelter, disease, and malnutrition. The LSP believes it is our moral duty to offer aid to nations who have suffered terrible losses in order to save as many human lives as possible. Providing aid in extreme situations to nations is both extremely moral and a fantastic means to increase our nation's reputation abroad. |
