Description[?]:
M. Speaker, I hereby move a motion of no confidence in the Minister of Finance, Danny Habowitz, for his severe economic mismanagement. Prior to Mr. Habowitz taking office, our nation enjoyed a comfortable surplus. Our economy was in good order. But since Danny Habowitz became Minister of Finance, that surplus was turned into a substantial defect, in part thanks to his severe reduction of the luxury goods tax. He even sought to ruin the economy further by introducing this absurd and irresponsible spending bill; http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=453723 Thankfully, it was voted down by every other party in the house, and our nation was saved from potential bankruptcy. Our economy has now returned to surplus thanks to a re-working of the income tax brackets - no thanks to Mr. Habowitz. I move that the Parliament expresses no confidence in the Minister of Finance, and with the passing of this motion, the house demands Mr. Habowitz's immediate resignation to ensure that our economy remains stable. Message | Mr Speaker, The CoS has absolutely no confidence in the current Finance Minister. It was irresponsible to lower taxes while also suggesting massive spending increases. The Finance Minister should of consulted more thoroughly with parties to secure support for an overall budget which made sense. Instead it plowed ahead with pieces of legislation which had no coherency. High Priest Darren CoS Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The prime minister has the end say here, perhaps that's what we will do, if I could vetoe this I would. As leader of my party and Head of state I must work in the best interests of the people. And if majority think I must replace Mr. Habowitz I will do just that. His experience proceeds him as he has had a long history of working for me in provincial legislatures. I still ask that this be blocked so we may deal with this internally and get back to what's important. Lodamun. President Jacob Hursh President Of The F.R of Lodamun |

Message | M. Speaker, Do the NWL and the LNRP know how politics works?? Mr. Lefebvre, YOU are the Head of Government, YOU are responsible for the Ministers in YOUR cabinet. So therefore it is your right to manage your cabinet how you see fit. So if you want the finance minister to resign, you can make it happen because, believe it or not, you are the Prime Minister! What a competent government we have... I can't believe I just had to tell the Prime Minister what his job is! Terry Hawthorne LPA Leader |

Message | We believe that all lodamunese are our brethren and we should support one another. In the case of the finance minister he may have mismanaged his job, severely I might add, but last time we checked, all our lodamunese make mistakes from time to time. We give you an A for effort but an F for the end result. George Lodamun PLUP President |

Message | M.Speaker, I have no more points to ponder here.Well,Finance Minister had its mistake, eventhough he wished for the good. And right now,i don't want to discuss about his eligibility as a Finance Minister here, because Mr.President already expressed his remarks. And i also thank PLUP for their grades to us,well atleast dear George, you have been evolved to find that 'all our lodamunese make mistakes from time to time',I give you an A for that! Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn |
