Bill: Identity Card Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3943
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, The individual's right to privacy, property, and right to speak or not to speak should not be infringed by the government. The government should not use electronic or other means of covert surveillance of an individual's actions or private property without the consent of the owner or occupant. Therefor we don't believe that the government should issue identity cars to our citizen who have to carry them. With a identity card your individual rights can be infringed because it violates your privacy. More importantly because every time you've to show your identity card your right to privacy is being infringed. However some citizen can choose that they want to wear a identity card and we should also give them that right, therefor this proposal. Fred Verto Representative Delvar Leader LP |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
