Message*Party Leader Jonas Loup stands in the Senate*

It has long been the belief of BL that whilst the state should have no role in the remuneration of ministers of religion, that it should not discount the possibility that the local governments of Rildanor might disagree, and might wish to prioritise the spiritual enlightenment of its Canton. Our commitment to federalism is such that we cannot in good FAITH *pauses to see if anyone got the joke* support the passing of this law.

*Jonas Loup sits with a satisfied, smug, punchable grin on his face*

MessageWe believe that this act, whilst imperfect, is a step in the right direction for the secularization of Rildanor, and as such can lend our support to it and its passage through the Senat.

We would put it that our coalition partners cannot have their federalism agenda both ways.

MessageWe also put it that the best way forward would be for us to vote for this, but propose a reform at a later date.
