Bill: Capitalist Coalition

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Brotherhood for Prosperity

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3946

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

This cabinet has been made proportional to the recent election. We have kept the Speaker with the LP because he has done a fine job and we see no reason to replace him. The Conservatives, because they own a large number of seats, have been given 5 cabinet spots, the Monarchists have been given 4 spots because they are the second largest party in the coalition, we will accept two spots because we will do whatever it takes to get this coalition passed, and the Libertarians get 2 spots because one of those spots is the speaker and that holds weight.

I hope that all included parties will support this, and that we can unify behind our shared capitalist principles.

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost.
