Bill: Budget proposal of March 2172
Details
Submitted by[?]: Lutte Féministe de Libération
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2172
Description[?]:
The Leftist People's Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the New Rildanor. Serious cuts for defense, because we're a very pacifist country. Dramatic increases in domestic spending. This should utilize our surplus and improve services for Rildanor. My proposed corporate tax increases should cover any small debt this may cause. |

Message | I wanted to pass this before the elections, and if I waited until tomorrow to put it to a vote it wouldn't be able to do so. Besides, if it and the tax bill fail, I'll just propose a new one since I can't edit this one in debate. Don't see why they should fail though. I think they're in line with almost all of our political persuasions. |

Message | Wow, didn't notice you could change that.. totally for the decrease of defence, hehe. |
Date | 05:19:43, January 17, 2006 CET | From | Front Canrillaise | To | Debating the Budget proposal of March 2172 |
Message | Defence has been decreased significantly, the only one actually. What the hell do you want our soliders to defend this country with? Sticks and stones? |
Date | 15:47:52, January 17, 2006 CET | From | Social Liberal Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of March 2172 |
Message | Yeah, I'm all about limiting defense spending, but that is slightly more than a cut. Sorry, but I've got to vote no. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
