Message | Mr. Speaker, The so-called "Progressives" are playing into the agenda of the neo-fascist National Front. Refugees are just that - refugees. They are here because they face persecution and discrimination in the countries where they live. We have a moral responsibility for their welfare. Mikelis Skriveris Leader of the Liberālā Savienība |

Message | Mr Speaker We are not playing into the agenda of the National Front, we are merely being sensible and pragmatic. If we allow all refugees in, we will soon be drastically overpopulated, we should only allow those in which have absolutely no other alternative. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This legislation will only allow in refugees with the very worst case stories. Not even all of those will be allowed in, because not all of these people will be able to prove what happened to them. Passing this bill would mark Dolgavas out as a mean-minded, uncharitable little nation of Little Dolgavans. Mikelis Skriveris Leader of the Liberālā Savienība |

Message | Mr Speaker Under current legislation, just simply anyone can turn up to our nation if they make up some excuse! Our proposed legislation instead offers a more sensible and moderate intake of refugees which our nation can maintain. |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
