"People of Sekowo!

We have come a long way. In 3947, you threw off the shackles of tyranny. Now we have a vibrant Democracy, with four political parties to choose among. After we de-fascized the government, we invited the other parties into the government. And we healed our wounds in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

But much remains to be done. First and foremost, there is the economy. Following the last election, we enacted Kodonomics. GDP growth blossomed, with an increase of 100 billion SEK GDP. Then we followed up on our success in 3950, and GDP went up another 16 billion SEK to 623,405,970,740 SEK. But unemployment remains high --- too high. In Nanzan, Kankawara, and Sanko, it remains the case that 0% of the labor force is employed. So while we have increased GDP, it has not gone up enough. We must increase GDP further with a renewed Kodonomics! Also, since there are not many jobs to go around, it would make sense to share the jobs that we have more evenly among the populace. So we will move to lower the retirement age and to shorten the working week, so that Sekowans can spend more time with their families.

We in the Yoko Kake Meguppātī have also come to believe that the time has come to relax the state's role in the economy somewhat. We have already begun to explore some ideas as to how to do this in the Economic and Symbolic Reform bill we introduced. And following the election, we will work to advance and clarify this agenda further.

We also recognize that there is also some dissatisfaction, as is natural in a Democracy. We do not expect to receive as many votes in this election as in the last, for there are more parties offering their visions for Sekowo to the people! And that is healthy, and we welcome it!

In particular, it seems that there is some dissatisfaction with the state of the military. It was necessary to de-fascize the military, but now we have three political parties (National Conservative Party, The Sekowo no kokumintō, and the A.T.T.A. (Association))" who all seem to agree that Sekowo needs a stronger military in these conflict-ridden times that we live. So particularly if you the people give strong support to these parties, we pledge to work with them to strengthen the military. Here, we believe that Kodonomics and a stronger military can go hand in hand. We can redirect more of our budget towards the military, and at the same time benefit from a stronger economy and from a stronger military.

People of Sekowo! In the elections of July 3953, you will have a choice! I respectfully ask for your support!"
