Message | Mr Speaker, Low income people are struggling to to get by in Rutania. Many people find themselves having to sacrifice basic necessities to pay rent. Even more alarming, low income people are being pushed out of our cities due to rising rents. Mr Speaker, I'm proud to present this act to provide greater affordable housing stock, and to empower residents to protect affordable housing. We can build strong urban neighbourhoods where there is a place for lower-income people. We can make a society with greater solidarity and end poverty. I ask the members of this House to approve these proposals. Nathan Fuller Co-Spokesperson, Solidarity Rutania |

Message | Mr Speaker, It is the firm belief of the Liberal Union that local governments know what is best for the people and not a detached federal government which is less directly connected to individual people. As such, we cannot support moving power in this area solely into the federal realm. Andrew Thomas Leader Liberal Union |
