MessageWe are against the centralization of policy, but we do agree with collective bargaining. It is important that we do not compromise our objective in respecting the rights of states. Due to this, we will vote against this bill.

MessageWe understand the concern to protect the rights of states, however this portion of the law essentially makes it legal for the states to outlaw unions, something I'm sure large businesses will be all to keen on lobbying for.

MessageThis bill will protect our workers from being unfairly treated by large corporations of which we have several. We need to pass this bill because otherwise, we are putting to much faith that the states will not outlaw unions and destroy the ability of workers to argue for fair working conditions. Positive change in the workplace comes from unions. That is why this bill is necessary, it puts the power back into the hands of the people. It may seem that we are taking power from the states which is true, but we are giving it to the people. The government doesn't form unions, our people do. All we are doing is affirming the right to the people to unionize.
