MessageNational security is incredibly important. To withdraw measures currently in place is to put our citizens at risk, so for that reason my party cannot support this bill.

MessageThe current ruling party is not addressing the points made in the legislation being proposed. National security, especially by police, who are controlled by the local government. Local security is the local governments job. Also, there would still be border protection, it just wouldn't violate the privacy of others. Under our current system of laws, our nation would only benefit from increased tourism. It would bring in increased amounts of money with minimal security risks. Visitor identities are confirmed which allows for known terrorists to be identified. Strict border regulations only harms our reputation in the international community. We must do what will best help both our economy, citizens, and reputation. It is for these reasons that I will be voting for this bill and why I urge everyone to consider, or reconsider, doing the same.

MessageThe Green Party does not understand the threat posed by terrorists seeking to enter the country. Removing these stricter measures is bad for national security, and putting citizens' security on the line for the sake of less hassle entering the country is not worth it.

MessageIn a previous rebuttal that the DLP offered, they said that we should care more about the countries around us, not just ourselves however you are now advocating the opposite. These harsh searching methods violate the dignity of the foreign nationals and undermines our reputation in the international community. Also, your party needs to understand that the identification and stopping of terrorists is still posisble because we would still be performing identity checks and confirmation. Our security will not be threatened even though we are not harshly searching everyone. I ask that you make up your mind about foreign policy as well as addressing that there would still be security checks as well as a booming economy.
