WHEREAS - Recent events suggest the need for better police powers - Over 2 dozen police officers were killed in 3953 - Police keep the peace of our nation and first line of defense. THEREFORE SECTION 1. WEAPONS I. Police are to be trained by Armed Forces trained conscripts in the use of military-grade weapons. II. Police are to be provided military-grade weapons at the discretion of the Ministry of Defense in regards to public safety. III. Police officers may only use said weapons after 40 hours of training annually. SECTION 2. POWERS OF SEARCH I. Police may search any property at any time. II. Police officers who conduct any such search must first take 40 hours of ethic training. III. Improper searches will be treated as illegal activity and breach of public trust. SECTION 3. PATROL I. Police may patrol any property at any time. II. There are to be no barriers of entry to police. SECTION 4. POWERS OF ARREST I. Police may arrest any citizen who is deemed in contravention of the Republic. II. A strike shall be awarded every time a citizen is not charged with a crime by the Courts; III. 2 such strikes and remedial ethic training will be provided to the officer; IV. 3 such strikes and a suspension at the discretion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will take place V. 5 such strikes and the officer is released of duty. VI. The Minister of Internal Affairs or High Chancellor may provide 1 pardon per officer. |
