Bill: Respect for Prisioners Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Traditional Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3955
Description[?]:
A nation is defined by how it treats its prisoners. As we have seen in recent months the LPA has no hesitation in torturing its political enemies. We do not expect that passing this bill will stop their abuse - only removing them from office will do that. However passing this bill would send a strong message to the LPA and the world that we, the other parties of Lodamun, do not accept this. |

Message | Excuse my earlier statement I didn't throughly look at the proposals in this bill. We have decided to vote no to the bill, on the basis that it should be an option, a last resort mind you, to torture to get what we need from a prisoner. Stephen Lodamun PLUP President |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
